ESPRiT press release: success right along the line at ESPRiT Consulting

Munich, April 8, 2008 – In 2007 ESPRiT Consulting increased total revenues by more than 40 percent. With total sales of more than 36 million euro, the internationally-active IT and management consulting firm posted a result well in excess of its own expectations. ESPRiT also excelled regarding growth in the size of the workforce in 2007: In Germany alone, the consulting firm took on 45 new employees, meaning that the total staff size stood at 220 worldwide at the close of 2007.

Karsten Höppner, ESPRiT Consulting’s CEO, comments: “We are growing because we follow a clear strategy: For us, success means setting clear goals and then getting the work done to achieve them – both in client projects and internally. To do this, it is important that we are close to our clients and that we concentrate on the right issues. At the moment there is no doubt that these issues are business intelligence and strategic IT management.”

At ESPRiT it’s not just the figures that are looking good right now: An outstanding 34th place amongst Germany’s best workplaces provides ample evidence of the high level of employee satisfaction. ESPRiT is convinced these soft factors also make a significant contribution to the success of the company. According to the findings of a study made by Psychonomics AG and the federal ministry of labor and social affairs at the end of 2007, there is a clear link between corporate culture and staff motivation, which in turn makes a direct contribution to the success of the company.
