Berne, September 9, 2008 – Thomas Puschmann is beginning his career at ESPRiT Switzerland as an associate partner and member of the management team in the service line technology consulting. The expert for portals, IS / IT architectures, SOA, and process and system integration had worked at IMG since 2004 as the head of the service line technology consulting for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Previously to this, he had obtained his doctorate from the Institute of Information Management at the University of St. Gallen.

Thomas Puschmann on joining ESPRiT: “I am really looking forward to this new challenge. ESPRiT is one of the few truly independent consulting firms that does not belong to any of the big groups, and yet is still able to grow rapidly on its own. The Zurich office was only opened last year, and it has already made excellent progress. That is why I am optimistic that we will also continue to grow here by focusing on the right issues in line with our clients’ requirements.”

Thomas Münger, the responsible partner for ESPRiT Switzerland, is confident with regards to the new appointment: “I think that Thomas Puschmann is a perfect fit for ESPRiT, not only because of his qualifications and specialized knowledge, but also because of his personal qualities. Currently there are more than 40 consultants working for ESPRiT Switzerland, and more new appointments are planned. Last year the consulting firm achieved strong growth in Switzerland, posting total revenues of 22 million Swiss francs for 2007. In the first two quarters of 2008, ESPRiT Switzerland generated revenues of 10.6 million Swiss francs.
