Munich, October 28, 2008 – Despite the general disquiet that has recently pervaded the market, the IT and management consulting firm once again posted excellent figures in the third quarter of 2008. ESPRiT Consulting has managed to keep up its outstanding results, and has achieved a revenue increase of 18.5 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. That means that ESPRiT is now within sight of its target of generating revenues of 42 million euro by the end of the current fiscal year.
Karsten Höppner, CEO of ESPRiT, comments: “We want to continue growing our business in the future – both in terms of revenue and staff size. That is the only way that we can attract good staff and ensure top quality consulting for our clients. In particular, we are extending our consulting competencies in the service lines Business Intelligence and Strategic IT Management.” In connection with this issue, ESPRiT Consulting has announced the appointment of Kurt Unterhuber as an Associate Partner based at the Vienna office. Before moving to ESPRiT, Unterhuber was employed at a large consulting firm in North America.
The staff size of the IT and management consulting firm at all locations worldwide totaled 250 at the end of October. By the end of 2008, this figure will increase to 260.
