Munich, November 11, 2008 – SAP has presented the SAP Special Expertise Partner Award 2008 to ESPRiT Switzerland. In the course of the partner information day on the subject of Business Planning in Baden on November 5, SAP paid tribute to some selected partners.
The management board of SAP Switzerland presented their strategy for 2009, and singled out ESPRiT for special praise because the management and IT consulting firm has completely adapted its collaboration with SAP to the requirements in the SEP process. Since January 2008, SAP in Switzerland has been working with the new Special Expertise Demand Generation Process. This urges partner companies such as ESPRiT to support SAP when dealing with project enquiries. For example, SAP partners don’t just see project enquiries as an opportunity to sell their services, but also work out the applicable licensing potential for SAP, and communicate this proactively to the world’s largest producer of corporate software.
Stephan Marchner, the ESPRiT Consulting Partner responsible for marketing and sales, comments: “We are absolutely delighted about this recognition from SAP that really shows just how much SAP appreciates the work that we do. It is particularly in the context of the new Special Expertise Program that we have further improved our collaboration and made it more intensive. As an independent partner, we do, of course, also recommend other products, but in many lines of business SAP is the undisputed market leader. Even companies that already have a SAP system landscape often decide to deploy new SAP products.”
ESPRiT is currently a Special Expertise Partner in the following areas: Supplier Relationship Management (D and CH), Insurance (D), Business Analytics (CH), ERP Financials (D), Customer Relationship Management (D), eSOA/ NetWeaver (CH), Infoworker (CH).
ESPRiT currently has a staff of 250 working at ten different locations in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, as well as the USA and Canada.
