Berne, February 27, 2008 – The new year has begun successfully for ESPRiT Switzerland: The service line technology is delighted about the new SAP special expertise partnerships for eSOA/NetWeaver™ and Infoworker in Switzerland.
SAP NetWeaver™ is currently one of the most frequently discussed topics within the SAP community. It basically means the next generation of mySAP technology. This integrates information and business processes via various different technologies and organization forms and brings together structured and unstructured information.
SAP NetWeaver™ is an integrated platform that facilitates faster, more efficient, and higher-quality development of individual functionalities on the basis of business requirements. Of particular importance is the fact that various different types of information, such as ERP data, documents or multi-media files, are available for the decision-making process. SAP has taken this into account with its new, special “infoworker” partnership. For the last few years, ESPRiT Consulting has been organizing experience exchanges for NetWeaver™ in Switzerland and Germany. At these events, there are presentations by invited companies, and ESPRiT also presents its own application scenarios, with the goal of providing a spur for new NetWeaver™ projects. This series of events will be continued in 2008. An event is already planned for the second quarter. At this event, there will be an input of experiences from major CRM 2007 projects in which NetWeaver™ technologies are intensively deployed.
Before being awarded the SEP status, candidates are subject to audit for various attributes including project experience, focus, number of certified SAP consultants for the solution/industry, and qualified customer proximity. In this way, SAP can ensure that partners have proven competencies and the applicable solution focus.
