ESPRiT press release: Computerworld: ESPRiT Switzerland gets top marks for revenue growth

Berne, August 28, 2008 – The IT and management consulting firm ESPRiT has been listed by the magazine Computerworld as one of the ten fastest growing companies in Switzerland. In contrast to the average rate of growth of just 3.9 percent in the Swiss ICT sector, ESPRiT grew by 73.2 percent last year. To put that into exact figures, that means that the Swiss subsidiary of the German consulting firm ESPRiT Consulting was able to increase total revenues by 9.3 million Swiss francs from 2006 to 2007. ESPRiT Switzerland’s total revenues for the fiscal year 2007 amounted to 22 million Swiss francs. In the first two quarters of 2008, ESPRiT Switzerland already managed to generate revenues of 10.6 million Swiss francs.

Computerworld published a special top 500 listing entitled “Tops & flops – no KO but winners on points”, which included all the winners and losers in the information and communication technology sector. You can read the complete report on the Computerworld website.

Thomas Münger, the partner responsible for ESPRiT Switzerland, comments: “This overview of the IT sector shows that we have established ourselves alongside the major players as one the most important consulting firms in Switzerland. We are, of course, absolutely delighted that this is increasingly being reflected in the media coverage we receive. Our clients know that they can rely on us one hundred percent, and that we show absolute commitment to every project at all times. This trust spurs us on to stay focused on the right issues and to make sure that we get the right people on board for ESPRiT.”

With regard to growth in staff size, ESPRiT Switzerland has also been an outstanding performer: Currently there are 40 employees on the payroll in Switzerland, and the offices in Berne and Zurich are both planning to hire more employees in the near future.
