The KABEG has successfully implemented the reporting as well as planning for the business areas financial accounting, controlling, human resources and healthcare. They created a centralized data basis that simplifies the efforts for the specialized departments and makes information more accessible. Special highlights during the implementation phase included the connection of five hospital information systems, the introduction of a protocol function into the planning which is not part of the SAP BI standard as well as the retraction of the planning data from the FI and CO area (including the medical KPIs). Thus the cycle R/3 à BI à R/3 could be closed and the customer is now working with an up-to date BI solution.
