On June 18, 2009 ESPRiT Switzerland was at the 3rd Swiss SAP Customer Event for Purchasing & Logistics in Regensdorf, with representation at a partner booth and one presentation.
In the course of some riveting field reports, customers provided an insight into the workflows of their projects and processes. In some additional live demonstrations, participants could learn more about the SAP solutions Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Mario Wissel, an Associate Partner at ESPRiT, made a joint presentation together with Jerome Schieb, the Application Manager and Project Lead at Actelion Ltd, to describe the implementation of a global eProcurement platform at Actelion. Actelion is currently implementing the latest version of SAP SRM 7.0, which has been available since January 2009. This interim report about the current project proved to be of great interest to the customers, and with more than 50 registrations, it was extremely well attended. In addition, the Purchasing & Logistics Customer Event also provided an opportunity for SAP experts and customers in procurement and logistics to exchange experiences in a relaxed atmosphere and to take from this an important stimulus for everyday work at their companies.
