Company History

In 1995 four former Accenture consultants decided to set up a new consultancy firm with a completely way of thinking. New? A different way of thinking? What this really meant was the creation of a firm that would work more creatively and, above all, with more understanding on a person-to-person level. New qualitative standards were to be set in consultation with clients and employees. All of this was to have one simple goal: To make the client more successful.

After its foundation, ESPRiT initially concentrated mostly on SAP implementations for Finance and Controlling at such notable clients as Allianz, GE Frankona Re, Hanover Re and the Max Planck Society. In the following years new areas of competence namely Corporate Planning, Customer and Supplier Management and IT Management and Integration were built up.

A lot has happened since ESPRiT was first established. New clients and employees have come to us, and new ideas have evolved. However, our proven principles never change: A healthy rate of growth, job satisfaction, and meeting the unique challenges we face every day.

Today ESPRiT has about 200 employees and is growing at a yearly rate of 20 to 25 percent and is one of the leading vendors of integrated IT and Management Consultancy. The goals remain ambitious: ESPRiT is planning to grow to 500 employees.

The ESPRiT success has been honored by various awards over the past several years. In June 2006 the consultancy was named one of Bavaria´s fastest growing businesses. "Bayerns Best 50" companies are characterized by extraordinary growth in revenue and the creation of jobs. Moreover ESPRiT has the preferred supplier status at several international customers. ESPRiT is especially proud to have been awarded the prize of the "Career of the Year in Medium-Sized Businesses". Didem Steinbauer-Zeytin has started working for ESPRiT after finishing her studies and is now part of the ESPRiT Management Circle. (see "awards")

Apart from providing first-class consulting services ESPRiT also considers it important to be socially active. Since 2002 ESPRiT hosts the so-called "Day of Care": On this day all ESPRiT employees help by working on a social project such as building a playground for a detox center, organizing a game without borders for disabled and non-disabled people or the refubishment of a girls asylum. (see "initiatives")
