Trainings and Qualifications
We emphasize the individual and flexible development of both competence and career. A minimum of two weeks’ formal training annually internally or externally-, complemented by training on the job plus many of your own initiatives, speaks volumes for our commitment to training. It is important to note that your qualifications are not just built upon in the areas you specialize in; your talents are developed across different areas. What does that mean in practice?
We want to create as much benefit for our clients as possible, and it is thus of great importance that you develop a wide range of general consulting skills. This means, for example, that you can make presentations, work methodically, and communicate competently with clients. Alongside these skills you also need to develop a keen awareness of what your colleagues actually do. To put it in concrete form, even a technology whiz has to make a presentation, and a strategist has to program a computer. It’s then this broad base that provides the foundation for one or two specializations, such as strategy know-how, Risk and Compliance (GRC), IT Service Management or SAP BCS Consolidation.
Development and Chances
In close cooperation with our staff development specialists, the prospects for your career development are highlighted. The demands of the market, corporate goals, as well as your own personal goals are all taken into consideration. As a matter of principle, everyone at ESPRiT has the opportunity to become a partner, and thus the chance to take charge of their own development and effectiveness in the market place. However, this depends on a number of criteria being fulfilled: Absolute competence in the specialist area, a good feeling for business, management skills, and a client base with plenty of scope for further development. To help you achieve this ultimate goal, we support you at each stage of your career development by setting realistic targets along the way: Team leadership, responsibility for other staff, project management, and responsibility for client account management.
Mentoring and Coaching
At the heart of ESPRiT’s career and competence development strategy is the concept of mentoring and coaching, both professional and personal. This ensures well-balanced staff development in the medium-term and, indeed, the long-term. In addition, a new employee at ESPRiT can look forward to many more perks: Our start-up kit (notebook and mobile phone), various insurance packages, use of a company car, and much, much more.
Individual encouragement and comprehensive support exactly what you need to get your career as a consultant on track. And last but not least, you can expect an adequate salary at ESPRiT; we want you to get as much out of your leisure time as you do out of working for us. Even though traditionally there is a high fluctuation in the consulting industry at ESPRiT long standing employee retention is very important.
