The competition has taken place for the 6th time in Germany. 2008 a total of 252 companies participated and the best 100 were invited to the award ceremony in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Berlin, Germany. The German Secretary of Labour Olaf Scholz awarded the much sought-after distinction. The basis for the evaluation of the participants was an anonymous questionaire that dealt with the areas of credibility, respect, pride, fairness and teamspirit. Additionally an audit of the Human Resources Department asked the companies to depict their measures, programmes and concepts in terms of HR Management. In 2009 ESPRiT is once again taking part in the competition, as the opinions of our staffers are of great importance to us. Moreover, it is a good instrument for us to determine the areas in which we have been able to make further improvements since the last survey, and the points where we can invest even more resources. That’s why we are already getting very excited about receiving the results for 2010.
